EasyWorship has no import for ProPresenter files. What it does import is a song file in the layout of a CCLI SongSelect download: open a new song, click Import in the song editor, pick the file, and the lyrics, title and copyright are filled in. This page turns ProPresenter songs into exactly those files.
What to upload
- ProPresenter 7 or later: the
.profiles, or a ZIP of the library folder (Documents/ProPresenter/Libraries/<library name>). - ProPresenter 6, 5 or 4:
.pro6,.pro5or.pro4files, or a ZIP of the folder.
Choose “EasyWorship 6 / 7” and download the ZIP. Inside is one .txt file per song and a
README with the import steps.
How the songs are laid out
Each file starts with the title, then the sections with their labels (“Verse 1”, “Chorus”), then the authors, the CCLI song number and the copyright line. EasyWorship starts a new slide at each empty line, so every ProPresenter slide stays a slide of its own.
ProPresenter arrangements are written out in sung order, because an EasyWorship song is a single list of slides: a chorus sung three times appears three times. Only labels EasyWorship recognises are written; a custom group name such as “Song” or “Walk-in” is left out so it isn't imported as a line of lyrics.
Importing into EasyWorship
- In the Songs tab, click the button for a new song.
- In the song editor, click the Import icon (left of the printer icon) and choose a
.txtfile. - Check the slides, fill in anything missing, and save.
EasyWorship takes one file at a time, so for a big library start with the songs you use most. The song list (Excel) that comes with every conversion helps to keep track.
Chords, keys, backgrounds and media are not included. Text inside ProPresenter slides that is split over several text boxes, for example a translation, is put together on one slide.
