ProPresenter can't open an EasyWorship song database, and EasyWorship has no export that ProPresenter 7 reads. This page reads EasyWorship 6 or 7's own database files and writes one ProPresenter 7 document per song, so a library of hundreds of songs moves across in one go.
Find the two EasyWorship files
EasyWorship keeps every song in two files in its data folder, normally
C:\Users\Public\Documents\Softouch\EasyWorship\Default\v6.1\Databases\Data:
Songs.db: titles, authors, copyright, CCLI detailsSongWords.db: the lyrics
Close EasyWorship, then upload both files, or zip the whole Data folder and upload the ZIP. If
you use several EasyWorship profiles, each profile has its own folder under EasyWorship. With
only SongWords.db the songs are still converted, titled by their first line.
What arrives in ProPresenter
- Each song becomes a
.profile named after its title. Unzip the download and drag the files onto a library in ProPresenter 7 (or a later version). - The labels EasyWorship shows on slides (Verse 1, Chorus, Bridge…) become ProPresenter groups in ProPresenter's usual colours. Slides without a label stay in the group before them.
- A chorus that EasyWorship lists after every verse is stored once and sung in the right places through an arrangement, the way ProPresenter songs are normally built.
- Authors, copyright and a CCLI song number (for songs imported from SongSelect) fill ProPresenter's CCLI fields.
Before you convert everything
The preview lists every song, and the first 10 songs come as a separate sample: import them first and check the groups and line breaks. Songs without lyrics are listed in the song list with the reason.
EasyWorship's themes, backgrounds and fonts don't come along. The text arrives in ProPresenter's default white, centred text box, which shrinks long slides to fit; select the songs in ProPresenter and apply your own theme.
