Crop one picture or a whole folder
Upload pictures (or a .zip of a folder), choose the part to keep and download the results, all
together as a ZIP that keeps your sub-folders, or one by one.
- Draw the area on the first picture. In a batch the same part of every picture is kept, measured as a share of its width and height, so it fits pictures of different sizes.
- Exact shapes: square, 4:5, 3:4, 2:3, 9:16, 4:3, 3:2, 16:9, 2:1 or 3:1. Every result gets exactly that shape: the largest area of that shape inside the chosen area, centred.
- Exact pixels: enter left, top, width and height instead of drawing.
- Circle: cut a round picture out of the area, with transparent corners (saved as PNG when the original was a JPEG).
- Shrink afterwards: optionally make the longest side a set number of pixels, for example 1080 × 1080 squares.
Format, quality and animation are kept
The result has the format of the original. PNG, GIF, BMP, TIFF and lossless WebP stay lossless. A JPEG must be saved again after cropping, so the cropper reads the quality setting it was saved with and uses the same one, with the same colour sampling.
Animated GIF, WebP and PNG (APNG) files stay animated: every frame is cropped, and the frame timing and loop count are kept. GIF colours are kept exactly whenever a frame has 256 colours or fewer.
Photos from phones and cameras are turned upright first (they are often stored sideways with a rotation flag), so the area you draw matches what you see. Camera info (EXIF), including GPS location, is removed unless you choose to keep it; the colour profile is kept.

HEIC and AVIF photos are cropped directly and saved as JPEG (PNG when they have transparent areas) unless you choose another format. Transparent areas stay transparent in PNG, WebP and GIF; JPEG has none, so they are filled with the background colour and the result says so. PSD, SVG and camera RAW files can be converted to PNG or JPEG first with the Image Converter.
