Printing a spreadsheet to PDF usually goes wrong in the same way: a sheet wider than the paper is cut into strips of columns, spread over page after page, and nobody can read a row across. This converter fits every sheet to the width of the page by default, so each row stays whole.
How to convert Excel to PDF
- Add the
.xlsx,.xlsor.xlsbfile above (or several, or a ZIP of folders). - Keep Convert to: PDF and choose how the sheets go on pages.
- Press Convert and download the PDF.
Three ways to put sheets on pages

A workbook whose sheets already have their own print scaling (a zoom or "fit to pages" set in Excel's page setup) keeps it with the first choice, since someone chose it on purpose. Every sheet of the workbook is converted, in order.
Numbers and formulas
The PDF shows the values the workbook stored when it was last saved in Excel; nothing is recalculated, so the numbers are what Excel showed. Dates, currencies and percentages keep the cell formats of the file.
Also good to know
- CSV files work too: they are read in their own encoding and separator (commas, semicolons or tabs), and fitted to the page like any sheet.
- Fonts that aren't installed here are replaced; Calibri, Cambria, Arial and Times New Roman get replacements with the same letter widths, so text fits its cells as it did in Excel.
- To get the data rather than pages, convert to CSV (one file per sheet) or to XLSX.
