Videos don't loop by themselves, so the animation can be repeated in the video.

Minimum length

Repeats the animation until the video is at least this long, for places that refuse very short videos.

Background for transparent areas

MP4 and H.264 MOV can't be transparent, so transparent pixels get this colour (a hex colour such as #ffffff). WebM and MOV with transparency keep it.

Quality

Lossless keeps every pixel (GIFs usually get smaller anyway); lossy makes much smaller files from photos and videos.

Your files are deleted after processing.

Animated WebP files (stickers, web animations, saved reactions) often need to be a video: for an editor, a presentation, or a site that accepts MP4 but not WebP. Converting keeps the animation's timing and lets you repeat it to any length.

How to convert animated WebP to MP4

Upload the animated WebP (up to 100 MB).
Keep Convert to: MP4 video.
Choose how many times the animation plays (once by default), or a Minimum length such as 5 or 10 seconds.
For transparent WebPs, choose the Background colour (white by default).
Download the MP4.

Frames and timing

The frames of the WebP are decoded one by one, each composited as it should look, and the video gets a steady frame rate that fits the frame durations: a WebP with 40 ms and 80 ms frames becomes a 25 fps video in which every frame lasts exactly as long as before. The result shows the frame rate used.

Transparency

MP4 videos can't be transparent. Transparent areas are filled with the background colour you choose; pick the colour of the page or slide the video will sit on. To keep the transparency, choose WebM video instead: it keeps an alpha channel, which current browsers show.

Size and quality

The video is H.264 at high quality. Odd widths or heights are padded by one pixel with the background colour, because H.264 needs even sizes. Small stickers stay small; nothing is enlarged.
