.nda, .ndax, .mpr, .mpt, .res · up to 200 MB each, 20 files max

    Neware .nda or .ndax, BioLogic .mpr (or an .mpt text export), Arbin .res. Add several cells to convert them together.

    Options

    Adds specific capacity (mAh/g) columns. Leave 0 to use the mass stored in the file, if any.

    Choose how data points are grouped into cycles for the summary.

    More options

    Up to 4 cycles for the voltage and dQ/dV previews, e.g. “1, 2, 10, 50”. Empty = picked automatically.

    Bin width for the incremental capacity curves. 0 = automatic (1–10 mV from the data density).

    Capacity retention is relative to this cycle. 0 = first complete cycle.

    Your files are deleted after processing.

    .nda is Neware's single-file format for battery test data, written by BTS 7.x and some BTS 9 releases. Opening one normally takes BTSDA on a Windows PC. Upload it here instead to get the raw data as CSV, a per-cycle summary with Coulombic efficiency, incremental capacity curves and a charted Excel workbook.

    How to convert an NDA file

    1. Upload the .nda file itself. Several cells (up to 20 files) can go in one upload.
    2. Optional: type the active material mass in mg. If you leave it at 0, a mass entered in BTS is used; the 1 mg that BTS fills in when nobody entered a mass is recognised and ignored.
    3. Download the results:
      • Name.csv: every recorded point with time, cycle, step, current, voltage, capacities, energies and any temperature or voltage probes;
      • Name - cycles.csv: one row per cycle;
      • Name - dQdV.csv: incremental capacity per cycle and direction;
      • Name.xlsx: all of the above plus a Charts sheet and an Info sheet explaining each column.

    Which NDA versions work

    The header of an .nda records a file version, and the result names it (for example Neware NDA v22). Versions 8, 22, 23, 26 and 29 from BTS 7.x and version 130 from BTS 9.1 were tested against what BTSDA exports from the very same files: measured values and cycle numbers match as far as BTSDA prints them, and capacities per cycle within its rounding.

    Reading the cycle summary

    Each row gives charge and discharge capacity and energy, Coulombic efficiency, energy efficiency, capacity retention, mean charge and discharge voltage and their difference, the voltage at the end of each half-cycle, and temperature where a probe was connected. With a known mass, the specific capacity and energy per gram are added.

    Cycles are numbered as BTSDA shows them. If your protocol starts each cycle differently, switch Cycle numbering to start a new cycle at each charge (cathodes, full cells) or at each discharge (anode half-cells) so the efficiency pairs the right half-cycles.

    Tips

    • Upload the .nda, not an Excel export from BTSDA: an export may be rounded or hold fewer points, while the original has every point at full precision.
    • The Excel data sheet ends at 1,048,575 rows; the CSV is always complete.

    Newer BTS versions write .ndax; see NDAX to CSV. For the efficiency and dQ/dV maths, see Coulombic efficiency and dQ/dV.
