Free translation file tools: Trados, TMX, XLIFF, TBX
Tools for translators and localisation teams who receive Trados files but work in other software, or who simply no longer have a Trados licence. Files are read directly, so nothing needs to be installed and it works on any computer.
Translation memories (.sdltm) become TMX with their languages, dates, users and custom fields, plus an Excel and CSV copy. MultiTerm termbases (.sdltb) become TBX and an Excel or CSV glossary, with the termbase's images. Bilingual .sdlxliff files turn into a review spreadsheet with segment status, match values and comments, and the edited spreadsheet can be turned back into an updated .sdlxliff for the client. Project packages (.sdlppx and .sdlrpx) are unpacked, with every file inside converted.
The results import into memoQ, OmegaT, Phrase, Wordfast and Trados itself.
